Europe on my Mind

I came across some pictures of Europe during my week-long project of organizing the office. As always happens when I start these kinds projects, I spend more time sitting, reading, and reminiscing than I do actually cleaning (although by the end of the day I did check "clean the office" off my list). I love these photos and I find it so amazing that something as simple as a song, a taste, or in this case a photo can evoke such strong emotions. I was so incredibly happy sitting there on the floor surrounded by papers and books looking at these pictures of Europe. But I miss it. Oh, I miss it so much. There is something about being in Europe that just makes my heart sing. I don't know if it is the history, the ruins, the good food, or the incredible photo potential, but I am feeling like I could use a vacation to visit Erica right about now. *side note: I tried to post a bunch of my favorite Europe pictures, but it wouldn't work and I don't want to try and do it all again, so you only get one for now. Sorry.

Europe I miss your great gelato, quaint towns, roman ruins, art museums, mopeds, ornate fountains, cheese platters, eifle tower, swiss alps, old castles, catholic churches, everyone claiming they have something associated with Christ or St. Paul, street musicians, youth hostles, versaille, minivans the size of my honda, flowerboxes, and rich history.

And Europe misses you! It would make me sooooo happy if there was a way you could come out here again. On a side note, when you posted the picture, I started reminiscing about when my stomach was flat and didn't look like a watermelon...

We still need to compile all of those wonderful pictures into a book! I haven't seen this one for a while--thanks.
