Another Failed Attempt

Anyone who knows Isaac knows how much he loves airplanes. It is not uncommon to find him rushing towards the window when he hears a jet fly by while uttering words like "oh sweet.." under his breath. It is no wonder then that it has been a dream of his to become a pilot. After years of hard work, Isaac is now only about 3 hours away from getting his wings, but keeps running into the same problem over and over again...the weather. It has been one of the rainiest June's on record meaning that Isaac is stuck on the ground. Last week, we finally thought that we found a day that was sunny enough to go and Isaac spent the night charting his flight. The next morning he got up before 5 to finish planning his flight, met with his instructor, and was ready to take off, but alas, unforeseen rain clouds came rolling in. After a long chat with the weather station, the flight was once again called off and feeling dejected, Isaac packed up his stuff into his car and drove home to get ready for work. While it is frustrating, it hasn't deterred Isaac at all from his love of airplanes and his desire to earn his wings. In fact, he is planning on finishing his last flight this weekend so everyone send some sunshine rays Isaac's way... he could sure use it.
