Good-bye One O'clock Church

Today was our last day of having one o'clock church. Next week, church will begin at nine. I really can't wait, but there is so much that I will miss about our one o'clock slot. Sunday has really become my favorite day of the week.
On Sunday, I like waking up next to Isaac as the sun shines through the window. Isaac usually smiles at me and says "Good morning beautiful, happy Sunday" before we both fall back asleep for another hour.
I like sitting on the couch and watching "Music and the Spoken Word" together. Isaac knows that I will be cold, (which I always am) and will cover me with a blanket.
I like taking turns making a big Sunday breakfast of pancakes, or grits, or egg and ham sandwiches.
I like having enough time after breakfast to read the scriptures or the ensign together and talk about our plans for the week.
And of course, I like having enough time to get ready for church and make it on time. And might I add that we have indeed been on time for church almost every week this entire year. That my friends, is an incredible feat.

However... I really dislike coming home from church and feeling that the day is already over. I look forward to coming home and being able to take a nap, and feeling like I have time to do something else on Sunday besides attend church.

So, good-bye 1:00 and I am excited to meet you 9:00. We are going to be great friends and have many great Sunday's together this upcoming year.

Wow -- I am never on time to church. It has been a goal of mine to get there in a timely manner and I have to get up like 2 1/2 hours before I have to be there if I want to get Annika and I fed and ready to go. Church is at 10:00 and I still can't quite seem to make it on time. I hope that you enjoy your early church and can keep up your punctual ways!

Your Sunday mornings sound divine! But there's definitely something to be said for those Sunday afternoon naps too... good luck with the "on time" challenge of 9am :)
