I love animals. I always have. We have always had pets in our family, I personally had a beautiful yellow lab growing up named Emma. She was a part of our family and she really brought so much joy to our home. It was a good experience for me to learn how to take care of her, train her, and understand that good things in life may take a lot of work but are worth it. As a new wife who is moving from apartment to apartment, I know that pets aren't really a feasible option right now. I have had enough experience with dogs to know how much space, training, and exercise they need to be good and happy, and I know that we can't provide that at this time. However, when my Aunt Sue asked me to puppy-sit their new lab, Tessa, for a week I just couldn't resist. After convincing Michelle, Brian, and Isaac that it would be ok and that she would be good, I finally got my puppy fix. Tessa was so much fun. Heber was great and helped me to feed and walk her every morning and I was thrilled to be able spend a week loving this cute little ball of fur. I love the little wrinkle that goes down the middle of her head and I love the way that she does somersaults when playing with her chew toys. She was so good the whole week, and I was so sad to have to see her go back home. It was the perfect opportunity to spend some time with a dog, but also a good way to remember why Isaac keeps telling me that we can't get a dog right now when I ask for one.

She does have quite the furrow on her forehead doesn't she? I'm glad you got your puppy fix, and I'm glad you love animals like I do, despite the problems they cause! Maybe I can send you one of your stuffed dogs you wouldn't let me throw away??
